Industry, Commerce, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission of the Parliament passed the Draft Industrial Property Law earlier today.

Draft Law unifies the dispersed regulations on protection of trademarks, design, patent, geographical indication, utility model and traditional product names, and aims to contribute to technological, financial and social improvement.

Commission President and Science, Industry and Technology Minister both stated their appreciation for the collaboration demonstrated by the ruling and opposition party members in the commission, and emphasized their hope to pass the law from the General Assembly in near future.
